Palmate Gardening has announced two recent upgrades to their popular gardening decor product line of Fairy Garden Statues. Their successful line fairy influenced and hand-painted statues has expanded to make life brighter for gardeners:
Integrated Solar Cells – this outside LED lawn ornament makes an excellent piece for the yard or patio, and compliments other accessories and garden lighting products. The tested LED light (in the shape of a butterfly in her palms) is long-lasting (up to 100,000 hours). Pete Bowes, Product Designer and co-founder, had this to say:
“The company has worked hard over the last three months to bring the latest changes into production. The product is designed based on some customer feedback and mostly our interest in diversifying our fairy garden statue line. Everyone wants integrated solar. It’s trending even more than previous years… and they all like the rustic wings. Over time, the fairy’s wings develop a lite rust to give a pretty rustic feel…”

Mr. Bowes also added: “We’ve upgraded the apparel from previous fairy garden statue designs – now the fabric on her skirt is made from thick fabric (durable water repellent – DWR). Our design assistant has tested the material for two seasons on other product and the results have been excellent.”
The changes in this gardening decor product were due to Mr. Bowes and other Palmate employees interest in diversifying their product line with more solar garden product. As part of an ongoing effort to improve the consumer experience when owning a Fairy Garden Statue, customers can switch the solar setting off and of course, use the item indoors.
