Esther Ming-Wei Aw has been named a member of the 2013 President’s Council of New York Life. Members of the President’s Council are among the top eight percent of New York Life’s elite sales force of 12,250 licensed agents.Esther Aw has been a New York Life agent since 1997, and is associated with New York Life’s Northern California General Office in Roseville. Esther is a Financial Adviser through Eagle Strategies, LLC. Esther has earned a Certified in Long Term Care (CLTC) designation and is the President of EMA Financial & Insurance Services, which is not owned or operated by New York Life or any of its affiliates.
Esther graduated from UC Davis in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, Rhetoric Communications and a minor in Economics. After graduation, Esther began her career in the financial services industry as the Regulatory Officer for the Pacific Stock and Options Exchange and the Singapore International Monetary Exchange. Esther brought her acquired credibility based on her unique and diverse experience to New York Life in 1997.
Applying a "holistic" approach to insurance and investment decisions and implementing strategic planning only after a clear understanding of her clients goals and objectives is Esther's winning management style. This approach has made it possible for Esther to earn many awards such as becoming a Life Member of The Million Dollar Round Table, Annuity Champion and GLI Diamond Leader as well as prestigious multi- year member of New York Life's President's Council.
Esther Aw lives in the Sacramento area with her husband, Les. In addition being active in her church, Esther has served on the Board of Directors of Blood Source and The Future Foundation. She volunteers with the Gift Planning Committee of American Red Cross and as the Financial Committee Chairman of Asian Community Center. Esther has received Recognition from American Red Cross as "Legacy Circle", and " Legacy Fellow."
