EDsmart has created a new ranking of the fifty best MBA programs in the U.S., by completing a full meta-analysis on existing available data and rankings.

EDsmart, a nationally recognized publisher of college information and rankings, recently released the 2016-2017 edition of Top MBA Programs to help students compare the overall quality of U.S.-based MBA programs. This edition includes fifty business schools surveyed from a pool of 159 of the best in the nation, according to official publications. EDsmart offers the most in depth evaluation available to-date.

The report provides ranking data from ten of the most influential business school and MBA rankings, including Bloomberg, The Economist, The Financial Times, U.S. News & World Report, together with investigations of post MBA earnings and more. This information is cross referenced and then combined to create an average rank for each school.

Harvard School of Business landed at No. 1, while Chicago Booth School off Business took the No. 2 spot, followed by Stanford Graduate School of Business at No. 3.

A spokesperson for EDsmart explained, “Entering an MBA program is a major commitment of time, money, and effort. The EDsmart MBA rankings offer a comprehensive overview of MBA programs to help prospective students and their families find the right fit. We like to think of our report as a ‘One MBA Ranking to Rule Them All’, a one-stop shop of sorts for those looking at prospective programs.”
