Dallas based personal injury law firm Eberstein & Witherite recently helped sponsor a charity event hosted by one of the city’s most popular Hip Hop and R&B radio stations to help women and children in danger. The firm supported DeDe in the Morning’s 1st Annual Putt Putt Golf Tournament, donating time and money to the event.Support for a Needed Cause
The Putt Putt Golf Tournament event allowed people from all over DFW to donate to an important cause: helping the Women Called Moses charity continue its mission of seeking to end the cycle of domestic violence for women who are victims of this type of abuse. Radio listeners were given the opportunity to make a donation and play on teams with some of their favorite radio personalities including DeDe, Lady Jade, Michael Shawn and other K104 station DJs.
1800 CAR WRECK attorneys Amy Witherite and Brian Eberstein each donated $100 to play on DeDe’s team, in addition to providing a $2,000 donation from the law firm. The $2,200 in total will be used solely to help women and children escape a homelife of domestic abuse. The attorneys told listeners of the popular Dallas radio station prior to the event that they looked forward to the opportunity to be a part of such a needed cause.
