Dride Partners With Funded Today To Release Safety Dashcam Campaign

Dride has launched a new Kickstarter campaign for a Bluetooth-connected dashcam. Having partnered with Funded Today, they hope to be completely funded by the end of their campaign in March.

Performance and Specs

Dride is a Bluetooth-connected dashcam that carries quite a few specs. It continuously streams high-definition video that can be uploaded to a shared cloud, allowing the entire Dride community to keep an eye out for reckless drivers or to help in accidents to see who was at fault. Dride monitors lane changes, frontal and side collisions and notifies drivers whenever they veer off course. Dride comes with voice commands and messaging, and was built on the Raspberry Pi platform, giving users the capability to create their own app to pair with the device.

Pricing and Availability

Dride has partnered with Funded Today to increase the number of backers for their campaign. If the goal is met, Dride will be produced and shipped to its backers worldwide by September 2017. The starting price for one Dride unit is $150.
