Dr. Bernard Lynch has recently attended and completed an Advanced Sedation course as part of a Master Series lineup of continuing education from DOCS Education, approved by the Academy of General Dentistry’s PACE Program, with the purpose of being able to treat more patients at his dental office in Burke, Virginia safely, and comfortably.This Master Series course takes the doctors through a series of sedation cases from start to end, and focuses on those patients who suffer from chronic medical problems, and how to safely administer sedation to them. This advanced training is taught by world-renowned doctors Tony Feck, the Dean of Faculty at DOCS Education, and Leslie Fang, Harvard Medical School professor.
Dr. Lynch has gained valuable knowledge on next-generation medications for sedation, as well as, how patients with different conditions react with these and other sedatives, with an extensive portion of the course focused on how to handle emergencies safely and effectively.
