He’s talking about the new developments in the dating world such as speed dating, where groups of people gather together and have short 5-10 minute “speed” dates with dozens of people on the same night. This allows people to quickly determine whether or not someone is worth getting to know better as a potential relationship partner. Another new twist to the dating scene is casual dating, a type of relationship that doesn’t require commitment from the partners. People who prefer this type of dating simply want a hand to hold when it’s convenient, or someone to try that new restaurant with on a Saturday night.
“It can be confusing if you haven’t kept up or if you are new to dating,” he says. “For example, teens who are just beginning to date need some special guidance to help them maneuver through the dating scene. Our dating guide site speaks to them and gives them advice.”
