Supporting the New Castle Jaycees, Chris Darling was able to network with the organization's president.

NEW CASTLE, Del. – Chris Darling, founder and CEO of Darling SEO, participated in the 3rd Annual Separation Day 5K in Old New Castle on June 12, 2015, and placed 3rd in her division. The race was hosted by the New Castle Jaycees, in recognition of the city's Separation Day festivities.

During the event, which commemorates the declaration of the counties of New Castle, Kent, and Sussex as a separate and independent colony from Great Britain, Darling was able to network with Dominic Hanna, the current president of the New Castle Jaycees. She states, “It was great to reconnect with Dominic Hanna and participate in the 5K race to support the Jaycees in their efforts to recognize Separation Day in New Castle.”

As a chapter of the Delaware Jaycees and the United States Junior Chamber, the New Castle Jaycees is composed of men and women ages 18 to 40 years who are interested in developing leadership skills and gaining experience in community service. The Jaycees train people to make them more competent through various programs, such as classes, competitions, socials, and more, which are organized by its members.
