Undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in Recreational Therapy (or) Therapeutic Recreation degree programs are invited to enter into the latest contest sponsored by Danny Pettry, LLC (Rec Therapy CEUs). Students have the opportunity to win:
A one-year student American Therapeutic Recreation Association (ATRA) Membership.
This student membership will be paid for by Danny Pettry, founder of (DannyPettry.com: Rec Therapy CEUs).
Additionally, anyone who enters the contest will receive an opportunity for a free subscription to Rec Therapy Today ezine.
Rec Therapy Today is operated by Danny Pettry. It features career opportunities for recreational therapists, tips on passing the national certification exam, and other useful updates about Recreational Therapy. Rec Therapy Today has blog posts featured several time a week. There is a monthly email sent out as well.
The contest is being held to bring attention to the importance of being involved in ATRA, the professional organization for recreational therapists.

Danny Pettry is a Lifetime Member of ATRA who wants more students involved in the professional association. Pettry has been involved with ATRA for many years. Pettry had been acknowledged by ATRA as a “Recreational Therapy Advocate of the Year” in 2005.
When asked about the competition, Danny Pettry, Founder of DannyPettry, LLC (Rec Therapy CEUs) , had this to say about why he is having this contest:
“One of my professors in graduate school had suggested for professionals to purchase a student membership for interns or students in recreational therapy degree programs to get them involved in our national organization, the American Therapeutic Recreation Association (ATRA).”
Winners will be chosen based on a random number generator. All winners will be announced on May 31, 2017.
