The video soars over 1000 feet in the air while displaying the arches and walkways through the campus from an eye level perspective view.

Their goal was to be able to share the look and feel of the campus with as much authenticity so that a future student may experience the campus without having to visit it. They were also investigating other ways to use this drone technology to further share elements of the campus with prospective students. The new technology allows the operator to control the camera remotely while also flying the drone at the same time. During the videotaping of the footage, Concordia University complied with the rules of advanced and efficient UAS; Drone operations into the national airspace.
