Tickets for Train's North American summer tour 2015 are moving briskly, says popular online ticket marketplace ConcertBank.

Los Angeles, CA Jan. 28, 2015 Tickets for Train’s upcoming Bulletproof Picasso tour went on sale Saturday morning and are selling briskly, according to online ticket broker ConcertBank. The perennial fan favorite group kicks off its tour on May 21 at the Sleep Train Amphitheatre in Marysville, California, and will tour through the summer, including a Train stop at the Hollywood Bowl, May 23, 2015. The tour, which is in support of Train’s latest album, “Bulletproof Picasso”, features stops in 40 cities around the country and ends with a weekend festival at The Gorge Amphitheater in Quincy, Washington.

In an online interview, front man Pat Monahan talked about the bandís efforts to keep things fresh for its fans. In the past few years, their concert shows have included dance routines, costume changes, light shows and videos, and they promise some surprises for the 2015 show. Among other things, the summer’s Picasso at the Wheel tour will feature the first-ever Picasso Music, Food and Wine Festival to be held in conjunction with the last stop on the tour. Tickets are selling especially briskly for that show, according to ConcertBank.

The festivities for each concert will start well before the show, with fans who arrive early getting the opportunity to enjoy the Patcast, Monahanís weekly podcast. They’ll be able to give shout outs to friends through the classic rock DJ, and sign up for the Mermaid Costume contest, which will earn a few lucky fans the chance to be brought up on stage with the band.

Monahan says that the band is also working on ways to incorporate opening acts, The Fray and Matt Nathanson, into the main show. Fans enjoy the sense of community and camaraderie that starts with the interactions of the performers on the stage, but it doesn’t end there. In fact, Train concerts tend to be more like enormous house parties than typical concerts, with fans dancing and interacting with each other in the stadiums.

Train fans need to get their tickets early, the online ticket broker suggests, because ticket prices tend to rise as the concert dates approache. Inventory changes frequently, though, so buyers should check back if they don’t find the tickets they want on their first visit.
