ClimateRight is now shipping its new and improved CR2500-ACH air conditioning and heating unit, which is optimal for outdoor pet houses. The CR2500-ACH provides year-round comfort and safety with its portability and durability in outdoor conditions. ClimateRight’s CR2500-ACH puts pet safety at customers’ fingertips with its infrared remote control with settings for heating, cooling, and dehumidifying, as well as auto and sleep modes. With 2,500 BTU and 115-Volts, the CR2500-ACH cools and heats an enclosure that is up to 7 feet long by 7 feet wide by 8 feet high.The CR2500-ACH plays a critical role in animal safety, particularly in the summer. According to the Ohio State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, “Dogs do not possess sweat glands and their fur naturally traps heat. Panting is their main method of cooling down, but excessive panting, a natural reaction to overheating, can lead to further fluid loss and dehydration.” Heat readily becomes trapped within pet houses as they are often in direct or indirect sunlight and lack sufficient ventilation to release the trapped heat.
Such high temperatures can cause pets to pant excessively, which can lead to overheating combined with dehydration. According to the Association of Professional Dog Trainers, overheating “can lead to dehydration, brain damage or even death.” By removing humidity, and maintaining a consistent, cool temperature, ClimateRight’s CR2500-ACH ensures the health of pet while they are in their outdoor pet house.
Additionally, with winter wind chills and freezing temperatures, the CR2500-ACH thermostat can be set to the exact temperature needed to keep pets warm and safe.
