Building block toy company Click-A-Brick has launched the Toy Chest Giveaway via Facebook. Entrants get a chance to win a prize pack that includes all four of Click-A-Brick’s currently available sets: Animal Kingdom Safari, Army Defenders and the just-launched Feather Friends and Mighty Machines.To enter the giveaway, participants can visit the Click-A-Brick Toy Chest Giveaway page, fill out the entry form and submit their information. Each participant is only allowed one entry, but will receive an additional 10 entries for each friend they refer. If someone that a person has referred wins, the referrer will receive a free 30-piece set, meaning even if a person isn’t chosen, they can still win if one of their referees is chosen.
The contest runs until midnight Pacific Time on July 19, at which time five winners will be chosen at random. Winners will be notified by email and announced July 21.
Each of the five winners will receive:
One 30-piece Animal Kingdom Safari set
One 30-piece Feather Friends set
One 100-piece Army Defenders set
One 100-piece Mighty Machines set
Participants do not need to purchase anything to enter the contest. It is open to anyone who is 18 or older who is a legal resident anywhere in the United States except for Rhode Island and Washington, DC.
Click-A-Brick Co-Founders Jason Smith and Georg de Gorostiza say they are holding the contest to promote the building block company, which is still young, and to make some lucky kids happy.
“With the launch of our next two sets this month, we wanted to do something to raise some awareness about Click-A-Brick,” Smith said. “We just released the 30-piece Feather Friends and 100-piece Mighty Machines sets and giving some lucky kids the chance to win them for free -- along with our other two sets -- seems like a pretty solid way to get people talking about Click-A-Brick and the new sets. We think giving people the extra entries for referrals will also help spread the word about us. Plus, we love bringing smiles to children, so what better way than a toy chest of Click-A-Bricks?”
Odds of winning the giveaway depend on how many entries are received and how many additional entries a person can get through referrals. People can enter alternately by mailing a standard postcard with the words "Click-A-Brick™ Toy Chest Giveaway Entry" along with their first and last name, address, city, state, zip code, email address, year and date of birth to 2657 Windmill Parkway #189; Henderson, NV; 89074; Attn: Click-A-Brick Toys.
The Click-A-Brick team say they might consider holding more giveaways in the future, depending on how well this one turns out. With tentative plans to release more sets this summer, the businessmen say, more giveaways seem likely.
