California Bar-approved provider of Minimum Continuing Legal Education to present a series of teleconference-based courses covering California Legal Ethics MCLE.

CLEforME.com, a California Bar-approved provider of Minimum Continuing Legal Education (MCLE), announced today that it will be offering a series of teleconference-based courses covering California Legal Ethics MCLE. The goal is to enable attorneys in the compliance group to easily fulfill their ethics CLE obligations before the deadline in February. The company has engaged with experienced practicing attorneys to teach the courses.

“This California legal ethics course package is coming together very nicely,” said Hugh Taylor, CEO of CLEforME.com. “Each course is designed to provide insights into issues that affect real, day-to-day legal practice. They should be interesting and relevant to any member of the Bar.” Topics under considering include ethical issues for virtual law firms in California, ethical duties of contract attorneys and more. The courses will be available on the company’s website, www.cleforme.com.

The courses will be offered as live teleconferences in October and November of 2016. Each course will also be recorded published as audio CDs or downloadable MP3 audio files for use in self-study or participatory minimum continuing legal education for California Bar members. Attorneys who enroll in the teleconference courses will also be able to download the MP3 recordings of the courses for free. That way, if they cannot attend the live course, they can access it at a later date.

The State Bar of California requires members to complete 25 hours of CLE every three years. This includes four hours of ethics and one hour each of Bias and Professional Competency. CLEforME.com has been publishing the popular CA MCLE Power Pack, which contains these six “hard to find” course hours for the last six years. The compliance deadline for California attorneys this year is February 1, 2017. This year, “Group 3,” attorneys with last names beginning with letters N-Z, must be in compliance for the period between February 1, 2014 and January 31, 2017. (Some refer to the requirement as “Mandatory Continuing Legal Education.”)

CLEforMe.com is a CA Bar approved multi-course MCLE provider. Provider #15304. The Power Pack is available now at the company's website.
