Bear Park Childcare was named winner of the Childcare Innovation Award beating out 100 other competitors to take home top honors. Childcare Stars presented the award to Bear Park Childcare in a family orientated ceremony. Details about the award can be found at http://www.education.govt.nz/.
Potential award recipients were nominated by parents in order to be in contention for the Childcare Innovation Award, and were judged based by a panel of judges, who analysed each submission. The Director of Bear Park Childcare was pleased about the company’s performance, saying:
“The philosophy of listening to the children and creating a nurturing environment has assisted in creating close relationships between the parents and Bear Park childcare centres.”
