At some point in their lives, seniors may require special care and assistance with daily needs.
Aging Family Services provides guidance to clients and their families through these wide-ranging needs including: communication/coordination with other health care professionals; crisis intervention; information and referrals; advocacy; and review of legal, financial and medical affairs.
Care management services can be a blessing for adult children who live in other cities and states by providing peace of mind. It is also important that the elderly parent and their children or guardian know about issues concerning elder law, funding sources, community alternatives, and care options.
Morgan Stanley, the organizer of “Elder Law and Healthcare Centric Financial Planning,” held on April 16th, provided a forum for local experts to discuss these topics during their monthly discussion group, “Wealth Wisdom for Women.”
Cheryl Theriault, founder of Aging Family Services was a member of the guest panel along with other contributors. “It was a pleasure and great opportunity for Aging Family Services to participate in this discussion that emphasized the importance of elderlaw and financial planning for healthcare,” stated Cheryl.
