Center Collision will join the nationwide auto giveaway program, Wheels To Prosper, for a second year to donate another auto to a deserving member of the community who could benefit by having reliable transportation at no cost. Wheels to Prosper was created in 2011, by auto shop owners and friends of Center Collision who simply wanted to make a positive impact in their community and were striving to change the reputation and quality of service in the automotive repair industry. Today over 60 shops throughout the United States participate in the program and it continues to grow.
Last year, Center Collision received nearly 30 nominations and gave away a 2007 KIA Spectra to Jasmine Radeck. After the positive response and the fun Center Collision had participating in Wheels of Prosper, they decided to bring this charitable program to Tacoma annually. Collision Center owner, Kevin House said, “Not only does the Wheels of Prosper program bring local business leaders together as part of the donation and selection process, it greatly strengthens the community by giving a deserving member a hand up.” He went on to say, “By bringing the two together year after year, the program will grow and will help more people thrive after they receive their car.”
Center Collision is accepting nominations until July 1, and needs help identifying the right person. The recipient of the car giveaway will have no knowledge of this car being gifted to them until announced at the Wheels to Prosper event held on July 22, 2017, at 11:30 a.m. at Center Collision, 1111 Center Street, Tacoma, WA, 98409.
Nominations can be submitted on their website via a simple nomination form to tell them what distinguishes this person, what struggles they are dealing with or have overcome, and how they contribute to the community, their family and friends, and how having a vehicle could benefit them.
