Celine Dion talks about her late husband and upcoming concerts at Ceasar's Palace.

Celine Dion recently celebrated her 1,000th performance in Las Vegas last Friday and used the occasion to talk to CBS News about Angelil, her husband who recently died of throat cancer. “Before he left, it was very, very difficult for all of us,” she said in the interview. “For me especially, and my children, to see the man of my life die a little bit more every day. And when he left, it was kind of a relief for me that the man that I love, the only man that I kissed, the only man that I love…I never kissed another man in my life.”

“This explains the passion in her singing,” says a spokesman from Concert Bank, a third party ticket seller that specializes in difficult to find concert tickets. “It’s what makes her performances so incredible—all that passion bottled up inside of her.”

Dion, who is now 48, met the love of her life when she was only twelve years old, and then she and Angelil were married for twenty-one years. She says she was instantly struck with him when she first met him, and was impressed that he didn’t treat her like a little baby. And the singer isn’t looking to fall in love again anytime soon. She says of Angelil, “I love him. I’m still in love with him. And I have the love of my children. I have the love of my fans. I love the people that I work with. So my life is not empty of love.”

Superstar Pink wrote a sing for Dion as she was grieving for her husband, and she debuted it last month. The song, titled “Recovery” is now part of her act as she performs at Ceasar’s Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“We have Celine Dion tickets on the site,” says the spokesman, “but as always, we can’t guarantee that they’ll last. Her fans continue to support her in this time of grief, and one way they do that is by going to her shows.”

Dion in performing at Ceasar’s Palace starting November 1 and she stays there until June 3 of next year. The spokesman recommends that if fans want to see Celine Dion in concert, they should secure their tickets while the best seats are still available.
