With wonderful reviews, book merges imagery and poetry celebrating the divine

Carolyn Mary Kleefeld is excited to announce the release of her latest book The Divine Kiss, an exhibit catalog of her shows, inspired by David Campagna, at the Santa Barbara and the Shreveport Karpeles Manuscript Museum and Library. The book, which hit shelves last month, includes 15 full-color images and 15 poems, each of which resonates with the corresponding painting.

According to Patricia Holt, spokesperson for the writer and gallery, this 16th book expresses in imagery and poetry the sacred merging of love into the realm of the Beloved, manifesting and celebrating the divine. Additionally, the book is in honor of David Campagna's travels to the showings at the Shreveport and Santa Barbara Karpeles Library and Museum. Says Holt, the reviews have been wonderful. "We've been very impressed with the reviews so far."

Dr. Darin Deterra, therapist and author reviewed the book saying, "The Divine Kiss is a loving, passionate, and highly original work that inspires and evokes the lover in all of us. Here, Rumi elopes with Chagall in a dance of color, compassion, and sensuality. Carolyn Kleefeld’s authentic, intelligent, and transcendent poetry takes us on a divine journey into the heart of love. Painting and poetry mirror one another, then merge together. Each poem is a multi-layered metaphor, borne of Eros, matured through Agape. The paintings dazzle, warm, and invite, making love with the prose."

Many of Ms. Kleefeld's art work pieces are available for personal purchase. Says Holt, individuals interested in purchasing are encouraged to view the gallery Carolyn Mary Kleefeld Gallery online and view some of the samples. Price lists and individual viewings are available by appointment.
