Frog Hollow Farm of Brentwood, California, is running an online contest during the month of April to give away a subscription to their “Monthly Cornucopia of California” organic fruit delivery program. The winner will receive a mixed box of seasonal, certified organic fruit once a month for three months.

The winner will enjoy the seasonal best of organic tree-ripened fruit grown in California. From May through July, the winner will receive a free box from Frog Hollow Farm's stone fruit harvest of ripe organic apricots, cherries, peaches, nectarines and perhaps even some plums. The fruit is carefully picked from trees by an expert farming team and thoroughly checked for quality before being packed and shipped from tree to table in 48 hours.

This giveaway is valid for a 3-month subscription to a 3-pound box of organic fruit. Shipping and handling for this fresh fruit program is included in the prize for a total value of $160. Fresh fruit ships Mondays through Wednesdays and orders arrive in two days.

Year after year Frog Hollow Farm continues to delight fresh fruit lovers around the country. The Monthly Cornucopia of California giveaway is owner “Farmer Al” Courchesne's way to kick off what looks to be a very fruitful harvest season — a true cornucopia of abundance and nourishment. Frog Hollow Farm grows more than twelve varieties of organic peaches and fourteen varieties of organic apricots, plus organic plums, cherries, and nectarines.

Frog Hollow Farm is a 143-acre organic farm located east of San Francisco in the fertile Sacramento River Delta. The Frog Hollow Farm orchards find a perfect home in Brentwood, California's Mediterranean-type climate with its warm days and cool nights. Farmer Al has been called a “rock star” of the organic fruit delivery industry because he selects only the sweetest, most flavorful, tree-ripened fruit to ship directly to his customers from tree to table in 48 hours. All tree-ripened fruit from Frog Hollow Farm is carefully boxed and shipped unblemished and ready to eat. Farmer Al insists, “We are sticklers for quality and want to make certain you get the best organic fruit possible.”

According to Farmer Al, only 2% of fruit is cosmetically perfect. Fruit with minor blemishes makes up the bulk of any harvest and much of it goes to area Farmer's Markets. Beautiful fruit that is ripe enough to have great flavor and survive shipping goes to their mail order customers. Ripe and ready-to-eat blemished fruit finds a home in the weekly boxes of the Community Supported Agriculture program they operate in California's San Francisco Bay Area.
