Years ago Frog Hollow Farm owner “Farmer Al” Courchesne adopted Cal Red as the farm’s signature peach, a unique variety that has become the favorite of discerning peach lovers across the country. But the increasingly popular challenger, O'Henry, according to Farmer Al, “is my favorite peach to grill.” While almost any tree-ripe peach is a delight to most fresh fruit lovers, the Cal Red and O'Henry peaches are considered to be among the best peaches in the world.
Peaches are grown in all of earth's temperate climates, but they find a unique home at Frog Hollow Farm with its Mediterranean-type cool nights and warm days. Frog Hollow Farm harvests more than twelve varieties of organic peaches from mid-June to early September each year.

Farmer Al says only 2% of all fruit is cosmetically perfect. Fruit with minor blemishes (most of the harvest) goes to local Farmer's Markets. Ready-to-eat blemished fruit finds its way to the weekly boxes of the Community Supported Agriculture program that Frog Hollow Farm operates.
