2014 Boston Marathon winner, Meb Keflezighi will be honored as “SPORTS Man of the Year” at the 8th annual “A Taste 4 SPORTS” on June 25, 2015 at the San Diego Hall of Champions in Balboa Park benefiting SPORTS for Exceptional Athletes. prReach — Widely acclaimed as one of the greatest runners ever, 2014 Boston Marathon winner Meb Keflezighi (pronounced Kef-lez-ghee) will be honored as “SPORTS Man of the Year” at the 8th annual A Taste 4 SPORTS on June 25, 2015 at the San Diego Hall of Champions in Balboa Park San Diego, CA benefiting SPORTS for Exceptional Athletes. A Taste 4 SPORTS features fabulous signature dishes and libations from over twenty-five San Diego restaurants, breweries and wineries and the “Sensational Silent Auction” with trips, sports memorabilia, gift baskets and much more. Proceeds from A Taste 4 SPORTS will help provide over 24 sports programs each season throughout San Diego County. Summer sports programs include: cycling, soccer, softball, bocce, ice skating, golf, walking, and swimming for athletes with and without developmental disabilities throughout San Diego. Meb is the only athlete to win the New York Marathon, the Boston Marathon and an Olympic Medal. Meb’s mission is to help others go the distance in their own lives. “Do your best in everything you pursue at every level and remember we all need to help and support each other.”
