According to a recent wedding survey, most brides spend at least 120 hours planning their wedding, with some brides spending upward of 900 hours on coordinating the big day. To help with the wedding planning and synchronizing all the services involved with a large wedding, Jodi Curry, spokesperson for Belvedere Events & Banquets (www.belvederebanquets.com), has announced its annual Bridal Expo for August 5, 2015 from 6pm-10pm.Says Curry, "Bridal Expos luxury shows allow you and your entire bridal party to sample wedding cake, hear music, meet photographers, talk to wedding vendors face-to-face, sit in a limo, and gain hundreds of wedding ideas and tips." She goes on to say there will also be a luxury runway bridal fashion show featuring gowns from top couture designers. "There is so much to see and do at our bridal shows in Chicago; you could literally plan your entire wedding in one day."
Bridal Expos in the past have been a big success for Belvedere Events & Banquets, a banquet hall facility that has been hosting Bridal Expo Chicago since 2008, says Curry. "What better place to meet and talk with all the people necessary for a wedding? Instead of going to florists, wedding dress boutiques, bakeries, printers and meeting with DJs, you can go to an Expo and find all of these things in one place. Not only will you save time, but in many instances, brides and grooms can save money as well because the vendors will generally offer same day discounted packages."
Curry goes on to offer tips for couples, based on years of putting on these expos. "Make sure you wear comfortable shoes as there will be numerous vendors to visit. Additionally, don't attend alone, have a friend accompany you or come as a couple. Bring along a note pad to take notes, and don't forget your checkbook or credit card in case you want to book services and need to hold the date with a deposit. "
