Attorneys can now take a course taught by Attorney Randell (“Randy”) C. Roberts online for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit. The course, Personal Injury Referral Rules, is part of the College of the State Bar of Texas and is an accredited CLE course. The course accounts for .75 hours of MCLE credit (including .75 hours in the ethics category) and is available to complete until May 31, 2016.The course topics cover:
- Rules for Earning a Referral Fee
- Rules for Liability
- Rules for Ensuring a Successful Referral
- Rules of Conduct Between the Associating Attorneys
The 43-minute course is available online and as a downloadable mp3 file. Courses can be streamed to computers, as well as to phones and tablets. To receive credit, participants must complete the course and report their MCLE hours prior to May 31, 2016.
