Dr. Lee Wittenberg and Apache Foot & Ankle Specialists are pleased to announce the arrival of Dr. Christina Hulsebos - Foot Doctor in Las Vegas to the team. A newly created web page details her credentials in education and experience. Dr. Hulsebos worked as an associate in a group practice in southern California following her residency and moved to Las Vegas in 2016. She is excited to become a part of the team at Apache Foot & Ankle Specialists and strives to provide quality comprehensive care to her patients.Hulsebos attended the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago. She has passed her examinations for all parts of the National Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners.
The new foot doctor in Las Vegas took her three-year podiatric residency at Loma Linda VA Hospital under the direction of Dr. Brian Mills. The experience during the residence included acting as primary surgeon for 100s of surgical cases in podiatric medicine and surgery. The techniques and procedures included bunions, hammer toe correction, bone resections and Achilles tendon repairs. Other procedures include ankle fractures, bone biopsies, foreign body removals, metatarsal fractures, tendon transfers, ankle arthroscopies, calcaneal fractures, plantar fasciotomies, flatfoot reconstructions and neuroma excisions.
Dr. Hulsebos has gained experience working with a variety of specialists ranging from emergency medicine physicians to endocrinologists to vascular surgeons. Wound care is another area of experience, with practice of skin grafting, wound debridements, and amputations.
The team at Apache is a skilled group of trauma surgeons, trained to deal with a range of sports-related injuries and surgeries. Wound care of the lower extremities is another area of expertise.
