Clients will now be able to enjoy the cytocare skin rejuvenation complex and hair growth vitamin infusion treatments, both of which are administered through the use of precise micro-needling."Previously, the Clinic's main use of micro-needling was in platelet-rich plasma therapy," notes Silvia Derasner, medical aesthetician and co-founder of the Anti Aging Toronto Clinic. "These two new treatments will allow the same painless precision to be used for other rejuvenation and restorative treatments as well."
The cytocare treatments make use of a combination of hyaluronic acid and a rejuvenation complex to hydrate the skin, protect it from oxidizing agents, fill lines, smooth wrinkles, and preserve and restore the integrity of the skin.
"The effects are similar to those from platelet-rich plasma but are carried out in a more direct manner. The two actually complement each other quite well," muses Derasner.
The hair-growth vitamin infusion is designed to treat various scalp problems for both men and women. This includes hair loss, hair breakage, dehydrated scalp, or dandruff. Much like cytocare, the hair-growth infusion is a combination of hyaluronic acid and a restructuring complex. Once applied, treatments can slow hair loss, restructure existing hair, dramatically rehydrate the scalp, and eliminate dandruff.
“The standard treatment protocol for the cytocare complex is six sessions every two weeks, and the protocol for the hair infusion is one session every two weeks,” explains Derasner. “Both treatments can be integrated into existing platelet-rich plasma treatments for combined effectiveness.”
