The Rocky McElhaney Law Firm is offering a scholarship opportunity to undergraduate students enrolled in a four-year public or private college or university. The Max McElhaney Memorial Educational Scholarship awards $2,500 to a deserving student majoring in either Education or History.

"My uncle Max is an incredible man,” said firm founder Rocky McElhaney. “He has always supported me in all of my endeavors, and he valued education –mine and his. Max believes in hard work, in sacrifice and above all he believes in love; his relationship has always been the ‘gold standard’ in our family when it comes to love. This scholarship has been established to help a young student who values those same things.”

After years of teaching in Rutledge, Mr. McElhaney returned to school and sought a degree in hospitality.
