Cornwall, Erinn Jessen, Joey Lincoln and Kenny Hatfield spent about a year building out a beautiful little cedar covered place they now invite everyone to visit.This family friendly establishment serves everyone, including children, the very best BBQ beef and pork in the county. And, the beer garden serves up over thirty-three different specialty brews designed to satisfy the most discerning pallet.
Locals probably know the history of the name Blackjack’s since ranchers named the local ranges after the oak tree of the same name. Blackjack Peninsula, home of the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge is a wildlife sanctuary that thousands visit each year, and everyone knows the story of the Hatfield's and McCoy's, our partner and BBQ Master is directly related to the real Hatfield clan! So now Rockport-Fulton residents and visitors have a brand new place to meet and greet Tuesday through Sunday from 10:30 AM until after midnight.
Often you will be entertained by a country-western band or fiddler that is playing on the outside garden area band platform. Visitors sit at comfortable tables in the moon light and freely sing along. Occasionally a karaoke session breaks out.

Some of the brands of beer include Magic Hat, Bombshell Blond, Shiner Bock, Killian’s Irish Red, Miller Lite, Bud Lite, Lone Star, Coors, Corona, Dos Equis, Guinness Draught from Ireland, Hoegarden, Stella and Fat Tire from Belgium, Pacifico and Sam Adams Boston Lager. This is just a sample of more than 33 different brands of brew from all over the world.
The BBQ menu is to drool over. Savory slow smoked brisket, ribs, chicken and pork are cooked all night over Mesquite wood coals. George, the Pit Master can be seen at all hours of the night stoking the fire pit. They also serve a twice-baked potato salad, pinto beans and a peach cobbler that is to die for.
Children can get soft drinks including Saint Arnold Root Beer that is made with Imperial Cane Sugar (absolutely no high fructose corn syrup), vanilla extract and lots of yummy (but secret) flavorings. The cane sugar gives it a sweetness and mouth feel that cannot be achieved through corn syrup. The flavors explode in your mouth. The only way to improve on the Root Beer is to add a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Sandwiches and even family meal deals are available right off of the menu and prices are so reasonable you’ll want to take a big plate home.
