The Internet of yesteryear is not today's Internet says an African American Inventor who alleges that her ideas were "copied" by the government to improve and transform the Internet in 1990. "The successful web was not created by magic", she says. She says that she is yet unrecognized and uncompensated for her ideas which helped transform the Internet into the success that it is today accommodating the many millions of websites online today.

The credit for the success of the industry has gone to technology which is only one side of it. Creativity is the other side. Ecommerce has grown because of this creativity input. The decision to take businesses and consumers 'online' or 'commercializing the industry' revolutionized the prior telecom structure(s) resulting in a greater and faster Internet. Billions of smartphones, tablets, video games, social networking, and the other businesses that feed off the Internet are able to do so because of the transformation which has made billions of consumers available.

The inventor says that she is disappointed by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit which upheld the rulings by the United States Patent and Trademark Office in its decision on March 8, 2013. However, she says that the Court did not review what she alleges are the Patent's Office violations of her Constitutional Rights in its denial of her Petition for Rehearing on May 14, 2013. She is therefore seeking the opinion of the highest court in the land as she says this is a wrong that should be righted as soon as possible as 23 years is a long time to wait for Justice.
