Discount airfare can be found in the presence of group airfare packages. Some airlines offer discounts for large groups flying together. American Airlines offers a 5% discount for groups of 10 or more people, so by planning ahead, guests end up attending a wedding and getting a bargain vacation out of the same trip. Another popular trend for couples tying the knot in Costa Rica is to tell their guest to forgo bringing a wedding gift, and consider attending the wedding to be the gift.
