The 5th annual Bakken Oil Product and Service Show is keeping its show local by bringing the event to the heart of the Bakken Shale Play in Williston, North Dakota. On Wednesday October 7 and Thursday October 8, at the Raymond Family Community Center, companies operating in the Bakken will have an opportunity to network and conduct business in their own backyard instead of hitting trade shows far from the action.The Bakken market has shifted, and oil & gas companies find themselves with time to shop and compare price and services for the first time since the boom began. For this very reason, many oil & gas product and service companies are reserving their exhibit booth for the 5th Annual Bakken Oil Product & Service Show. They say now, more than ever, is the time to take advantage of getting in front of as many qualified prospects as possible to shake hands, reconnect with old clients and meet and greet potential new ones.

Expanded Schedule:
The show has expanded hours on Wednesday based on feedback from last year. The show accommodates 175 exhibitor booths in the Raymond Family Community Center not including the outdoor exhibit area, and nearly 1,000 people attended the event last year. 2015 is shaping up to be an even more successful event for vendors and service companies in the Bakken Shale Play area.
Reduced Price Oilfield Certified Safety Training Courses:
TrainND and Airgas Onsite Safety Services will be offering reduced rates on industry required Oilfield Safety Training
Certification Courses only available during the two days of the Bakken Oil Product & Service Show. Operators and workforce can now take required oilfield certification courses and attend the show all in the same day. This is an opportunity to save time, save money and be in compliance. Courses offered are: StatOil Orientation, H2S Awareness
Certification, GHS Update for HazCom, Fit Test and Medical Evaluation. Advanced registration is required for the courses and can be found under here.
BOPSS Tailgate Cook-Off:
This 10-team cooking competition brings food and a bit of fun to the Bakken Oil Product & Service Show while raising money for charity. Many service companies in the area boast amateur gourmet cooks and love the opportunity to showcase their talents. This addition to the show allows those individuals and teams to compete for recognition as well as raise money for the Salvation Army. Winners will be announced Wednesday at 8pm in the following categories: “Top
Tailgate Team” and “Charity Challenge” in which each team displays the best sports theme and raises the most money.
