This year’s 2013 Women’s Expo early vendor booth request numbers have greatly surprised Cindy Cohen, RN, BS, BA the local women’s show organizer. Mrs. Cohen and her C2YourHealth corporate staff have organized the official ‘Memorial Hospital Expo For Women’ for over eight years. This year the event takes place March 1st and 2nd. ‘Girls Night Out’ is on March 1st from 4 pm to 9 pm. Saturday's event is held 9 am to 6 pm. Fast sales of vendor booth space has lead everyone to believe this will be the best attended women’s expo in the last 10 years.The goal of the South Bend Women’s Expo is to empower women to create the life they are seeking for themselves, their families and their community. This event takes in a national women’s business expo atmosphere because it is the kick-off of National Women’s Day and Empowerment Week. National event recognition is sought for the Expo For Women.
The women’s expo outreach strategy includes:

The Memorial Hospital Expo For Women has been held steadily in downtown South Bend for 24 years straight. This women’s networking event took on new life -- when Cindy Cohen and her C2YourHealth Corporation took over 8 years ago. Mrs. Cohen was able to bridge the gap between the hospitals vision and public need.
As a former nurse, Mrs. Cohen understood hospital administration. Because she was a nurse and one of South Bend’s top social networkers, Mrs. Cohen understood people. The 2010 women’s expo record to beat is 5,000 people, in 2 days. This 2013 event appears to be a market breaking year, due in no small part, to Cindy Cohen's hard work, networking and her detailed organizational efforts.
When asked why people should get a booth at the women’s expo Cindy Cohen stated, “There is cost effective selling, with access to over 5,000 targeted clients, and the buyers are coming to you. All this happens in just one weekend.” When asked if there were any other advantages of marketing through an expo or trade show, Mrs. Cohen stated, “A product or service can be displayed in its best light, demonstrated to a group, tried and quickly sold to newly educated buyers.
