Combine9.com, an online retailer of rustic and vintage industrial furniture has moved their manufacturing plant to Houston TX from Anza, CA. They are now able to scale at a greater economy than they would have if they stayed in California due to lower taxes and more warehouse for their money. They have been consistently gaining increasing market share as demand has been on the rise since 2012 for rustic furniture and vintage industrial furniturehand-made out of steel and reclaimed wood.

Lee Cowen, founder of the company, has been lead designer for all of their pieces and has been making furniture since 2011. When he made his first piece for a friend, that’s when he discovered his passion and ability to create unique and desirable pieces that compliment a client’s settings in ways that box store furniture fails. “Our furniture pieces are all 100% unique, no two are exactly alike. That’s what our customers appreciate, originality and personality.”

Since moving to Houston, where there is huge demand in the local market for their offerings, they have expanded operations and plan to double revenue in twelve months. They now have developed hundreds of unique pieces, which can be ordered by calling the number or sending an email to the contact on their website. Aside from giving hundreds of designs to choose from, they can custom-build pieces to the specifications of their clients based on dimensions and type of finish on the wood and metal. Their furniture crosses a wide variety of distinguishing tastes, from modern industrial to rustic and vintage.

Combine9.com has enjoyed organic growth since their inception, providing real jobs to skilled employees here in the United States. What began as one person wanting to make something out of nothing is now a small team of professional craftsmen. They have made many beautiful pieces for people all over the country (and international as well) and are delighted to create pieces built to the specifications of their customers.
