With the constant increase of tuition prices in american universities and colleges, people worry about how they will be able to afford to pay for a college degree. But "A college degree is not necessary" claims Hermann Bock, "because there are better ways".

With the constant increase of tuition prices in american universities and colleges and also abroad, young students, their parents as well as older ones are not only worrying about how they will be able to afford to get a college degree, but are also incurring in huge debts, that will certainly become a big burden later on in their lives.

“However, a college degree is not necessary” claims Hermann Bock from hermann-bock.com in a recent post on his blog, “in the 21st century you can certainly be successful and happy without a college degree, and without the huge burden of debt that a college degree carries with itself nowadays.”

It is a sad fact, that college tuition prices keep increasing constantly and even online universities, like for instance, Kaplan University have tuition prices that, according to their own website, can go up to $66,780 in order to get a degree.

It’s getting so bad that sadly more and more young people see themselves forced to start their working lives with the heavy burden of debt and no guarantee of ever being able to pay it back.

In fact, according to a recent report on the CNBC website, “millions of recent debt-burdened college graduates are still underemployed by one of the worst recessions on record” and according to statistical trends, this situation is just going to get worse.

On his article, Hermann Bock gives a little positive hope and explains that there are other ways to make a living that rival the best salaries that a college education can offer. Actually, making money without a formal degree from an accredited educational institution can be surprisingly easy and fast, if the person gets the right kind of education, specifically tailored for the circumstances.

He does utter a word of caution: “Not aiming for a college degree does not mean that you don’t have to study and work. In fact, if you want to succeed in life without a degree, you must work smart and you have to be a lifelong learner.”

These claims and the arguments supporting them have been recently published in an article on his blog and interested parties can read it here:
